I just ordered and installed this unit in my 2009 Civic Hybrid. I did not want to spend an additional $2000 for the NAV/SAT receiver but i did want satellite radio for a good price. The installation took me about 4 hours to complete with instructions from this site. I had to pretty much dismantle most of the dash board and remove the center console along with the entire back seat. The trunk lining had to come out as well as some weather strips and trim. I had to be careful removing the trim on the front right pillar since this exposed the curtain side airbag. The installation was pretty easy for me and it is recommended for anyone that is technical. If you are not technically inclined do not attempt to do this your self because you can easily break so many things in the process if not careful. I think that if I had to do it again, i could do it in half the time. I am really happy with the product and the quality. The sound is great and i can finally listen to whatever I want. I like this system because it is integrated with the factory radio using the factory display on your dashboard. You can also control your station presets from your steering wheel as it is on your exiting FM/AM stations. I plan to install the Bass Speaker System soon which will be much easier to do. Overall I am Happy with the product.
